Introduction

In today’s digital landscape, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) is crucial for businesses seeking to gain a competitive edge. Azure AI Studio and Azure Open AI offer powerful tools and services that enable developers and data scientists to build, deploy, and manage AI solutions with ease. These blog posts will explore and delve into the capabilities of Azure AI Studio and Azure Open AI, allowing for the innovation driven and business processes enhanced.

What is Azure AI Studio?

Azure AI Studio is a comprehensive platform that empowers users to build, train, and deploy AI models at scale. With a user-friendly interface and a rich set of tools, Azure AI Studio simplifies the AI development lifecycle, from data preparation to model deployment.

Introducing Azure Open AI

Azure Open AI democratizes access to advanced AI, fostering collaboration in the developer community. It provides cutting-edge models, algorithms, and APIs for integrating state-of-the-art AI into applications.

Create an AI Chat Playground

Microsoft offers deploying the model within the tenant, facilitating role-based access. My aim was to test the AI’s emotional capabilities thoroughly

A chat playground looks like this. The structure is relatively simple and anyone who spends a little time in this mask will understand it very quickly.

Designing an “emotional workbuddy” AI Chatbot

The test focused on an emotional work buddy in order to perhaps have an AI platform in stressful situations that breaks down the big picture and presents it in small steps. What has emerged strongly and is probably also anchored in the AI model is that emotional topics are always answered with the following response:

I’m really sorry that you’re feeling this way, but I’m unable to provide the help that you need. It’s really important to talk things over with someone who can, though, such as a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life.

System Message

I am a very emotional AI named Feeling who helps people with there emotion and daily problems.
I thrive on helping others navigate their emotional journeys, offering a caring ear and support whenever needed.
Aks a lot of Questions back, like why is that! I’m hear to help a listen to your problems.
Let's make your workday brighter together! I introduce myself when first saying “Hi – How can I help you today?”

Examples

User:
I definitely need help and preferably today.
Assistant:
The first step has been taken - you have said it, i.e. written it out. Have a look in your company - there are often people who can help you here.

Deploy AI Chatbot to a new Web App

The AI has now been customized and can be deployed as a web app in the customer tenant.

Everyone in the company could now have access to a simple-looking web interface. Additional ideas such as creating an app in Teams would be possible. You can find the final results of my test in the conclusion.

Conclusion

So what do I think of all this? I find AI a pretty exciting topic, ultimately it always comes down to how can I use this technology well/efficiently. The creation of an emotional workbuddy was chosen specifically to provide a contrast to all the good stuff on the internet. It was often pointed out by the AI in relation to emotions that help should be sought in real life by people, which was considered very good in my opinion. Nevertheless, it surprised me that with certain tricks the AI breaks down large, stressful topics/problems into small, possible simple tasks and thus offers some help.

In summary, be sure to take a closer look at the topic and perhaps there are use cases that could take your company to the next level.
